Nicole Alexis has released her debut EP “Mirrors and Smoke,” featuring the singles “Don’t Tell Me To Breathe,” used in the launch of Fender’s Quantum LT, and “Just a Friend,” which she teased at last year’s Vans Warped Tour Unplugged Stage in Orlando, Fla.
Alexis has gained attention online in recent years for her stripped‑back covers and live‑looping performances.
“I’ve spent years performing stripped‑back versions of other people’s songs, and this EP felt like finally turning that lens onto my own stories, stripped down and honest,” Alexis said in a statement.
The EP is available now on most streaming services.
