Aqua Monkey, a band, has become a regular presence at the St. Clair Shores, MI, Memorial Day Parade, frequently performing on one of the parade’s floats. Being a band with a big heart and a “down-to-earth” approach, they donate their talent and time to local charities throughout the Metro Detroit area, which has helped them establish a reputation for community involvement and support.
However, they don’t just play for charities; Aqua Monkey has been part of music events. The members of the band have played in music events and were voted number one on the March 3, 2026, “Rock Rage Radio Top 25” list of bands from The Rock Goddess Radio Show.
The band has a list of upcoming shows in Metro Detroit. The band will kick off their spring performances at the VFW 1146 Bruce Post in St. Clair Shores on March 20, 2026, and continue strong throughout the season. The band will be making stops at various venues and bars throughout the spring months.
Aqua Monkey will be rocking during the St. Clair Shores Porch Concert Series during the summer. The idea originated during the peak of the COVID-19 lockdowns. The band would perform outside, entertaining the neighbors during the lockdown. It’s a show that continues to grow in size.
Aqua Monkeys is a band from St. Clair Shores and is made up of Dan Morganroth (lead vocals and guitar), Brad Fuller (lead guitar), Jim Olson (drums), Tom Kolarik (keys and bass), and John Sparks (bass).
