Roseville, Mich.—Halloween is the perfect time for kids (and adults) to dress up and become someone else, either a character they like or admire. So why not let our four‑legged friends join in on the fun? The Recreation Authority of Roseville and Eastpointe hosted a special event at their RARE Park in the city of Roseville, Mich., on Wednesday, Oct. 21, called the Halloween Doggie Meet-up and Costume Contest. It was a meet-up and costume contest for the “spooky companion.” The event was sponsored by Zoomin Grooomin, a mobile pet grooming company.
Several winners, winners from the several categories, won a 15-dollar gift card from Pet Supply Plus and a skeleton trophy. The winner of the “Best Costume,” Sarge and Lindsay Collins, won a grooming package from Zoomin Groomin. Both were dressed as Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.
