St. Clair Shores—Something that started back during the pandemic has grown over time. It’s a simple idea, as Daniel Morganroth, lead singer for the band Aqua Monkey, mentioned in an interview on WDIV that he would take his amp and play on the porch for the local neighbors.
This concept has evolved over time, getting bigger and bigger, and it will return to the neighborhood porch this summer. With more bands and food trucks. It’s a block party for the ears.
The current porch concert takes place once a month on various days (see dates below). At least that is what is currently listed. The list of bands includes up-and-coming bands, Mind Riot to Kougaran, and everything in between. The concerts can be found on Larchmont Street in the city of St. Clair Shores.
