Her Head’s On Fire has announced its new album Am I Not Your Girl?, which will be released July 17 via Iodine Recordings. The band also shared the first single, “We’re Not Running.”
Vocalist Syd Jagger says the track captures a sense of hope even when the odds feel overwhelming. “If you stand alone with a brick in your hand against an oncoming wave of tanks with no hope of success, you still throw the brick,” Jagger says.
The four‑piece includes members of Garrison, Saves the Day, and The Bomb. Which includes Jeff Dean (guitars), Syd Jagger (vocals), Rodrigo Palma (bass/keyboards), and Michael Soucy (drums and percussion). Drawing on their past work while pushing the project forward.
