Following their 2022 album, Love, Drugs, & Misery, which included singles such as ‘Blow’ and ‘Unstoppable.’ Eva Under Fire, hailing from Detroit, has announced the release date of their next album, scheduled for July 10. Villainous, via Better Noise Music, which features some of their latest releases, ‘Awakening‘ and ‘Murder Scene.’
With the announcement of the new thirteen track album, Eva Under Fire has released a new title track/video off the album, Villainous. The track has been described as “…laced with crunchy industrial elements that defined late ’90s and early ’00s-era rock, but Eva Under Fire adds a modern punch with the dual-female vocal interplay between [Amanda] Lyberg and [Maria] Brink.” The video is available on YouTube to watch.
Eva Under Fire has added a donate button to the Villainous video page in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, which runs from May 1st to May 31st. When fans click the donate button, they can contribute to ‘To Write Love On Her Arms.’ A non-profit movement dedicated to “presenting hope and finding help for people suffering from depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide.” (The fundraiser will be active until the end of May.)
“I’m excited to give back to an awesome organization actually doing the work,” Lyberg offers about the decision to partner with To Write Love On Her Arms. “TWLOHA describes themselves as a nonprofit dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, and self-injury. Those are the same demons being fought in the “Villainous” music video, so it’s honestly a perfect fit. ”
If that wasn’t enough, Eva Under Fire will be returning to the road this summer. Starting in July, the band will be touring with Five Finger Death Punch and Cody Jinks. Check the dates below to see if they will be coming to a venue near you.
