DESCRIPTION:The Veterans Memorial Parking Lot will be hosting the first drive-in theater of the year\, beginning at dusk. The event is hosted by the St. Clair Shores Parks and Recreation Department. \nThe featured movie selected is Disney’s Zootopia. \nTickets for the drive-in movie must be bought in advance and cost $10 per car and can be purchased at the Parks and Recreation Office (20000 Stephens\, St. Clair Shores). There are a limited number of tickets available\, so make sure you purchase your ticket early. \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:It’s Saturday\, which means that there will be more food trucks\, entertainment\, music\, and vendors in the St. Clair Shores Social District. It is scheduled to start at 5:00 p.m. in downtown St. Clair Shores and keep running until midnight.  \nFor those who don’t know\, this is how the Social District event works. At around 5:00 p.m.\, Greater Mack Avenue closes between Nine Mile Road and Cavalier Drive to finish setting up for the event. (After the event\, the street will reopen to traffic. The rules for the Social District can be found on the St. Clair Shores website.) \nStreet games\, food trucks\, and vendors will all be at the event for everyone to enjoy. At 7:00 p.m.\, the band takes the stage and performs until 11:00 p.m. This week’s band is Paulina Jaynes\, “Country Popular Covers.” \nAttending and listening to the music at this event is free.
